Creation FGBB
Until 1995, the “Belgian National Federation of Bakers and Pastry chefs with staff” and the two national federations of artisanal bakers were gathered under one single organisation: the “Belgian Confederation of bakers, pastry chefs, chocolate-makers, ice-cream makers”.
To meet the specific needs of the large Belgian bakeries, the national federation of Bakers and Pastry Chefs became an independent organisation in 1996. In 2000, it was then decided to change our name to the “Federation of Large Bakeries of Belgium” (FGBB) to better reflect our identity and specific objectives.
